eBay Privacy Notice

This notice covers our eBay store and adds to our main Privacy Policy.

Sales on eBay

We also sell on eBay under the store name golden_star_jewellery. When you buy from us on eBay, make an offer, or send us a message there, eBay shares your eBay username, the items and amounts involved, and the messages you send. We use this only to fulfil your order, answer your questions, respond to your offers, and keep our accounts.

We connect to eBay through software we run on Google Cloud. We use Anthropic's Claude AI assistant to read eBay messages and draft replies; a person at Golden Star Jewellery reviews every reply before it is sent. We do not sell your information, use it to market to you, or use it to train AI models. eBay's own use of your information is covered by the eBay Privacy Notice.

Our connection to eBay does not store your information. Working records that contain it are deleted within 90 days of your order or conversation closing, unless we need them longer to resolve a return, a dispute, or to meet a legal obligation.
