Why colour is ordered, never stocked
Fancy coloured diamonds are the hardest thing in this trade to keep in a display case. No shop floor in North Vancouver could hold a useful spread of yellows, pinks, blues and greens across every shape and size at once, so we do not pretend to. Golden Star Jewellery has been family owned since 2013, and every fancy colour you can filter for below is sourced through our supplier network and ordered once you have picked it.
Judge colour on video, not on a photograph
Colour is the whole point of these stones, and it is the one thing a still photograph handles badly. A 360° video is available, and it is worth watching before you commit, because saturation and tone shift as the stone turns.
Where your stone is certified, the certificate ships inside the package with your Golden Star receipt, GIA where the stone carries GIA certification. Returns run 14 days, and the stone must come back 100% identical and unaltered.
Setting a coloured stone
The setting and the stone are ordered separately for each order. They meet here, where our own jewellers set your fancy coloured diamond in-house before the finished piece ships. Allow 14 to 20 days for a loose stone. There is no express option. To compare colours in person, book a consultation at Capilano Mall in North Vancouver or at West Broadway in Kitsilano.
